Disko Bay, Greenland – Royalty-Free licenses offered

I am planing a photo shoot to Disko Bay, Greenland in August 2010. I will travel around Disko Bay for about a week – going to places like Ilulissat, Qeqertarsuaq on Disko Island and/or Qasigiannguit. In 2004 Ilulissat Icefjord was admitted onto UNESCO’s World Heritage List, and is today at the centre of international focus on global warming. It’s an amazingly beautiful place!

My photos are primarily used for marketing and branding of services or companies. Often to express environmental conscience or to illustrate travel destinations. They are used by tour operators, food companies, environmental organizations and more.

To fund the trip I am offering a Royalty-Free license to all photos taken on the trip. My expectation is for around 500 varied photos in high technical quality and resolution. You will be able to download the photos on my personal gallery website – or if you prefer, you can have them in the mail on a CD. The Royalty-Free license cost just 100 USD for all photos taken on the trip. I feel that’s a very unique offer.

A Royalty-Free license lets you use my photos
- in any advertising material (print or online)
- in unlimited numbers
- without expiration

To view samples from previous trips to places like Iceland, Greenland, Norway and Canada go to my gallery.

If you have any questions about my offer or want to make a deal don’t hesitate to contact me.

Iceland shoot well over

Eyjafjallajökull

So – the day I went to Iceland, the Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupted in a big new way. I was lucky enough to see it from the air (and photograph it).

I still didn’t know quite how severe it was until a few hours later when I was stopped by a policeman on my way east. He told me the road might be closed for a few days. I decided to do my planed trip backwards and start off with Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir instead. The next day I learned that it might be more that an few days(!) and that I would probably be cut off from doing two thirds of my planed trip.

Instead I went to the Snaefellsjokull glacier on the opposite site of Iceland. It’s not quite as impressive a place, but still very beautiful and lot’s of photographic opportunities. Besides that I have been spending a lot more time than expected on the south-west coast. Naturally I also went to the shoot the volcano although at a much greater distance than expected.

If you want to see the result go to my personal portfolio at gallery.imagix.dk.

I am planning a new trip to Iceland in September where I will hopefully be able to go to the east side of the island – Vatnajökull and up along the east coast. Next year I’ll cover the north island and possibly also Thorsmork and Landmannalaugar. If you are interested in purchasing a royalty free license to photos from this or upcoming trips please drop me an email or sign up to my mailinglist at gallery.imagix.dk.

Disko Bay, Greenland is planed for August this year.

Iceland photography shoot – “Royalty-Free” licenses offered

Huge iceberg

I am getting ready for a photography shoot in Iceland in the middle of April 2010. I will be traveling the south coast mainly through four days and end up at Vatnajökull – the largest glacier in Europe. My goal is to do drastic nature photography. Besides that I’ll be photographing the main tourist attractions on the south coast. Also, in April there is a very good chance of seeing the northern lights.

I am offering a Royalty-Free license to all photos taken on the trip to anyone willing to fund the trip with 100 USD. I usually return with around 1000 photos (high resolution, RAW image files). My shots are often used for marketing of travels/vacations and company branding. Continue reading →

Kit Kat

Didier D. was kind enough to email me that he had seen one of my iceberg shots in a French Kit Kat commercial. Very bizarre and funny.
